Make sure you don't plug them in backwards. Hopefully your chips come with instructions on how to use them. If you have a dbv, you'll then need to activate it using the Set90 chip. The machine should spin the reels after a few seconds then be ready to play with coins. Close the door and turn the jackpot reset key. Open the door and hold the white button again.
If it says 61 1, close the door (latch all the way down) and turn the Jackpot Reset key. If it just goes back to 61 then you'll need the Clear123 chip. After a few seconds you should hear a 'ding' and the display should now say 61 1. Hold the white test button located inside either by the power switch (if the cpu mounts behind the hopper) or between the cables by the cpu (if the cpu is mounted to the left of the hopper). It should come up with 61 in the display.
Once your new battery is installed correctly you put in the CPU, leave the door open and turn it on. This happens often when the battery fails and you replace it. You need an IGT S+ Clear123 and Set90 chips. It has a digital screen that would come up with a Call Attendant message or Netplex Down message. Okay, first off - I hope you didn't order IGT S2000 Clear and Set chips because you don't have an S2000.
